AMPTRAC Ready

Prepare your IT infrastructure for the future....
                   .... without an additional investment!

We are aware that budgets for investments in communication infrastructures are restricted and have to be oriented to the actual economical situation of a company or organisation. With an AMPTRAC Ready solution, AMP NETCONNECT provides you a migration path in line with respecting your restricted budget today, but also keeping all your options open for the future.

With AMPTRAC Ready you don't need to invest in additional software; you also do not need to invest in AMPTRAC Analysers and other specific hardware. You can upgrade in the future, when required by your infrastructure. The main difference that enables you to be ready is the Patch Panel.

The Patch Panel makes the difference!
AMP NETCONNECT offers a range of Patch Panels, which prepares your IT infrastructure for an easy upgrade to a full AMPTRAC IIMS System in the future. Every performance level and cabling system are supported, whether Category 5E, Category 6/6A or Category 7/7A, and whether UTP, STP or Fiber Optic solutions are required.

AMP NETCONNECT provides you two options:

AMPTRAC Ready Panels
This range of Panels is basically like any classical Patch Panel, but provide for a later upgrade the possibility of adding a sensor module to the front. For this reason, the initial cost of an AMPTRAC Ready Panel is exactly the ame as for a classical panel.

But this also means that a complete AMPTRAC Ready cabling system from AMP NETCONNECT will not require any additional budget. The costs are the same as for a traditional cabling system, but you are prepared for the future.

Full AMPTRAC Panels
Full AMPTRAC panels already include AMPTRAC sensors, which make a future upgrade even easier and faster. This integrated feature adds some minor initial costs to the cabling system. Nevertheless experience of structured cabling projects shows that the cost difference is less than 3%.
(Component costs only - if installation costs are also considered, the difference is even smaller!)
